In October of 2007 I went elk hunting with my wife’s family in Northern Colorado. I never shot a gun but I definitely fired off a number of frames with my camera. It was a great experience! I have been very interested in expanding my documentary work and this was definitely a step in that direction. I also recored some audio on the trip so perhaps I will make an audio slideshow at some point. Stay tuned! LINK

Every summer Portland has a Uke Fest at Reed College. I had a great time visiting with everyone and while their instruments might be small, their personalities tend to be large. Those ukulele players are very, very friendly! LINK
