It sure does pay off to be a Reed alumnus some times! The Reed Alumni Association got together for a tour of the Reedie owned Clear Creek Distillery in NW Portland. We got a tour of their facilities and ended with a tasting of their very good concoctions! I even put myself on the waiting list for their whiskey which is claimed to be the best made in the united states. We will see about that (not that I know). Their stills are made in Germany and are very fancy looking!

And some of their pear in the bottle pear brandy. Yes that is a real pear inside there...they grow them in the bottles!
