On Wednesday Joseph Taylor graciously allowed me to photograph him at work. He is an amazing artist, astoundingly creative, and a wonderful man just to have a conversation with. Needless to say I had a great time. Thanks Joe!

It was a perfect fall evening in Chicago! Warm, clear, and beautiful. Not to mention I got to photograph a great family. Their kids are awesome!
My great friend and artist David Lee Csicsko asked me to photograph his Belmont CTA “L” Stop art installation. Next time you have a chance to ride the Brown Line “L” train in Chicago, IL make sure you stop at the Belmont station. Needless to say, it is awesome!
I wanted to share photos from the unveiling and say thanks again to Steve for hosting everyone at such a great event!
I want to say thank you to Steve for allowing me to photograph him in such a personal way. The painting he is working on in these photos is a culmination of a lengthy personal process and to be both welcomed into his space and given the opportunity to share it with others is much appreciated. Capturing these pictures was very rewarding for me and I hope they portray Steve’s personality and the amazing painter that he is.
I intend this to be the first of a series capturing artists at work. So if you are an artist of any kind here in the Chicago area, and don’t mind me photographing you, please contact me. Thanks!
